Ascendance was founded by four Malaysian youngsters aged 13 to 19 years old at the time to inspire their peers to live more holistic lives. They became role models, excelling in their education and careers while motivating other youngsters to do so as well.
First Malaysians to receive the Diana Award 2019
In recognition of their efforts to foster change and develop youngsters, the 4 founders of Ascendance were awarded The Diana Award in 2019 for Social Action and Humanitarian Works. The Diana Award is a prestigious award given to young changemakers worldwide by The Diana Foundation.
Pursuing Further Studies at Ivy League Universities
The Co-Founders of Ascendance are currently pursuing their studies at some of the prestigious Ivy League Universities to broaden their mindset and to bring Ascendance globally. Harsha, the CEO of Ascendance is a 4.0 CGPA Undergraduate Student at the University of Pennsylvania, USA. Sanadt, the COO of Ascendance is a Film Production Student with a 4.3 CGPA at Toronto Film School, Canada. Heerraa, the advisor of Ascendance, is currently pursuing her studies in music at Harvard University and Mathura is a Class Participant at Harvard Extension School.
